Registered Nurse Manager
Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire
Salary: £50,000 – £52,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Setting: 27-bedded nursing home supporting physically disabled clients aged 65+ – 'please note this is not a dementia-focused facility'.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced, empathic and dedicated Registered Nurse Manager to lead our team. You will be a qualified NMC-registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a nursing management role, ready to take ownership of our home’s operations, care standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Requirements
- Valid NMC PIN and current registration
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a nursing leadership/management position
- Strong commitment to person-centred care and regulatory best practice
- Empathetic, approachable leadership style with excellent communication skills
What You Will Do
- Provide supportive, visible leadership to all staff, ensuring clear communication and consistent high standards of care
- Oversee all day-to-day operations, including rota management to ensure safe, effective 24-hour cover
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, GDPR/DSPT, safeguarding, infection control and all other statutory requirements
- Lead staff recruitment, induction, ongoing training, supervision and annual appraisals; working in partnership with HR on all employment matters
- Manage all aspects of medication safety, compliance and administration
- Drive person-centred care delivery that respects the dignity, preferences and independence of every resident
- Coordinate resident assessments, admissions and liaison with funding bodies, health professionals and external agencies to maintain optimal bed occupancy
- Work closely with the home’s Directors on operational planning, budget management, expenditure and financial targets
- Address concerns, feedback and complaints fairly, professionally and in line with our policies
- Regularly audit practice, procedures and care records to continuously improve service quality
Pay: £50,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
