Working ALTERNATIVE weekends, Saturdays 8.30am to 4.30pm. And Sundays 9.30am to 4.30pm.
We are seeking a talented and passionate soft play supervisor and Cook/Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and service. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that all food safety standards are meticulously maintained. The successful applicant will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the running of the soft play and staff and Lead kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Oversee food production, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery of dishes
- Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen controls, in compliance with health regulations
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to uphold safety standards
Experience
- Supervising experience is highly desirable, with demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
