We’re looking for a confident, friendly salesperson to run our bakery stall at Twickenham Farmers’ Market each Saturday.
Kubabka is a growing independent artisan bakery selling at farmers’ markets across London. We make everything by hand, including babka, cinnamon buns, cookies, banana bread and our gluten-free vegan seed bread.
This is a customer-facing sales role. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, is comfortable drawing customers to the stall and can sell with confidence without being pushy.
You’ll be responsible for setting up and presenting the stall, serving customers, taking payments, keeping the stand organised and attractive, and packing down at the end of the market.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and charismatic
- Reliable and punctual
- Organised and able to work independently
- Comfortable approaching and engaging customers
- Interested in good food
- Ideally experienced in markets, hospitality, retail or sales
The atmosphere at the markets is relaxed and sociable, but they can get extremely busy, so you need to be energetic and comfortable working at pace.
Pay: £15/hour — approximately £90 per market day.
Regular Saturday work for the right person, with opportunities for additional market shifts as we expand.
