Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while adhering to health and safety standards.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous, although full training will be given.
The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour. 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays (pro-rota). Uniform is provided.
