Romac Logistics is expanding and recruiting an experienced Internal Recruitment Consultant ahead of the opening of our new 251,000 sq ft East Midlands logistics facility located at Junction 29A on the M1 corridor.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an Internal Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter with a background in HGV Driver Recruitment, Transport Recruitment or Logistics Recruitment who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and growing organisation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Source, screen and shortlist candidates for HGV Class 1 Driver vacancies across multiple UK locations.
Manage recruitment campaigns using Indeed, LinkedIn, social media platforms and the company careers page.
Conduct telephone interviews and candidate screening assessments.
Verify Right to Work documentation, driving licences, CPC qualifications and other pre-employment compliance requirements.
Arrange interviews, assessments and induction bookings with site management teams.
Produce engaging job adverts to attract high-quality candidates.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future recruitment requirements.
Support recruitment activity for warehouse, transport, office-based and management vacancies.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate databases.
Assist with onboarding and pre-employment administration.
Build strong working relationships with hiring managers across the business.
Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate attraction strategies.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers.
Understanding of driver compliance requirements, including driving licence, CPC and Right to Work checks.
Experience recruiting warehouse, transport or operational management roles.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
