Production Supervisor

Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per year

About Nitron Racing
Nitron Racing designs and manufactures high-performance suspension systems for motorcycles, road cars and motorsport. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and improve our production operation.
The Role
You will oversee the day-to-day running of production, from Stores through to Dispatch, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
This is a practical, shop-floor leadership role. You will lead by example, support and develop the team, manage production priorities and identify opportunities to improve output, workflow and lead times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support teams across Stores, Production, Assembly and Dispatch.
- Manage daily production priorities and ensure plans are achieved.
- Monitor production performance and resolve bottlenecks.
- Improve workflow, productivity and lead times using continuous improvement principles.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure materials are available when required.
- Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality and Sales.
- Support team development, cross-training and effective communication.
- Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety, and housekeeping.
- Help coordinate equipment maintenance and minimise production downtime.

You will be an organised, proactive and hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be confident making decisions, solving problems and motivating a team.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience leading a production or manufacturing team.
- Strong production planning and organisational skills.
- Experience managing stock, materials or production workflow.
- Good mechanical understanding.
- Experience using MRP or ERP systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement.
Desirable
- Automotive, motorsport or precision engineering experience.
- Mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.
