- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Van Driving: 1 years+ (essential)
- Removals: 1 year experience (preferred) but full training will be given
We are looking for a van driver with experience in removals or a similar industry to join our removals team in Exeter.
1 year plus experience of driving 3.5 tonne vehicles is essential to the role, experience in the removals trade is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given. As well as driving you will also be required to support the other staff members with the dismantling of furniture, packing & wrapping and dealing with customers.
You will need to be polite, well presented with a can-do attitude and have a reasonable level of fitness due to the nature of the role. You will also need to be careful and mindful of customer's belongings. This is a job for someone who is a team player with good communication skills, can think 'outside the box’, displays good time management and can prioritise tasks.
This role includes driving company vehicles. Successful applicants will need to be eligible to drive under our commercial motor insurance policy.
On rare occasions, the job involves working away from home (overnight stays).
* Hourly rate of circa £14.50 - £16.50 per hour + overtime.
