Joiner/ multi tradesman required
We are looking for someone to join our small team, we build new bespoke homes and extensions/ renovations, we carry out high quality building projects, we ideally need a joiner who has some masonry/ building experience or is keen to gain some masonry experience, this role is suited to someone who isn’t shy to muck in at any task and dedicate 100% no matter what the job requires.

We carry out all groundwork’s, foundations, drainage, joinery including timber kit erection through to finishing's, bricklaying, landscaping etc, the candidate would play a role in all of these trades although would be mainly focused on Joinery.
40 hours p/w and will consist of mainly Monday to Friday with Saturday shifts when required, with plenty potential for overtime if so wished. Travel time is not paid, we start onsite at 7.30am and must be there on time.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to get a start with a small family run building company with a positive and friendly environment.
Experience is necessary, additional relevant training will be given but candidates with both joiner and bricklaying experience and drive may be favoured.
The candidate should be able to read and understand architect and engineers drawings, this includes interpreting the drawings and producing the required work to match what is specified on plan.
Role requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must have a good understanding of how to read and interpret architect and engineers drawings
- Must be able to build timber kits, including fitting roof trusses etc
- Kitchen fitting experience
- Candidate must strive to produce high quality work
- Attendance, timekeeping and reliability are a huge factor in this role (anyone who requires alot of time off for their partner or kids should not apply)
- Keeping the workspace clean and tidy is essential for both health and safety and presentation to client.
- Fabricate and assemble bespoke components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery techniques
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery within a construction setting
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment
- Knowledge of Joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, electrical systems, and construction painting is desirable
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or joinery are advantageous
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks over extended periods in various weather conditions
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist in the installation of fixtures and fittings, ensuring alignment with project standards
- Collaborate with other tradespeople including electricians, plumbers, and masons to complete projects efficiently
- Excavator and telehandler experience would be a bonus.
- A driving licence would be preferred; willingness to travel between sites is required.
- Age: 16+
- Reliability, trustworthiness, dedication, passion and focus are all required.
A true interest and desire to learn and progress in the building trade is absolutely essential! We are looking for a long term tradesman to work within our team, This isn't a stop gap job or an opportunity to simply make a bit of extra cash for someone not fully interested in the work. These type of candidates will be found out and will not progress any further so please don't apply if this is your intention.
