Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide information about the menu and answer any guest queries
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the entrance and waiting areas
- Assist with serving when necessary to enhance guest experience
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong background in guest services with a focus on hospitality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Experience in serving is advantageous, along with knowledge of menu items
