Experienced Pizza Chef

Salary: From £13.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 35–40 hours per week (5 days)
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday – 1 daytime prep shift and 4 evening shifts per week.
Every Sunday and Monday off.

Laura’s Pizzas is a small independent takeaway serving Neapolitan-style pizza in Bristol. We're looking for an experienced Pizza Chef who takes pride in quality, works well under pressure, and wants to be part of a friendly, hardworking team.
We make as much as possible in-house from scratch, so this is a hands-on, prep-heavy role as well as a pizza-making position. From dough and sauces to toppings and sides, there’s plenty of opportunity to actually cook and work with fresh ingredients rather than simply assembling pizzas.
The working week includes one daytime prep shift, giving you time to get ahead with production for the week, alongside four evening service shifts.
What you'll be doing
- Managing dough production
- Preparing sauces, toppings, sides and desserts
- Stretching, topping and cooking pizzas during busy services
- Maintaining consistently high standards of quality
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards
What we're looking for
- Previous pizza-making experience in a busy kitchen
- Someone who enjoys both prep and service and takes pride in making food from scratch
- Reliable, hardworking and able to stay calm under pressure
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Available to work evenings and Saturdays
