We are looking for dedicated, caring, and motivated Waking Night Support Workers to join our residential children's home team. You will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people with diagnosed learning disabilities, helping them to thrive, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will:
✅ Provide overnight support, ensuring the safety, welfare, and well-being of children and young people.
✅ Follow individual care plans, support plans, and behaviour support plans consistently.
✅ Promote independence, confidence, and life skills development.
✅ Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people.
✅ Complete accurate records and reports throughout the night.
✅ Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and support.
✅ Help create a stable, nurturing, and therapeutic home environment.
What We're Looking For

- Flexible and willing to work across weekends, school holidays, and festive periods.
- Experienced in care or support work (desirable but not essential).
Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is desirable.
- Candidates who do not currently hold this qualification must be willing to undertake and complete it within the timescales required by the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
Working Hours
Our home operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing consistent support to our children and young people.
Waking night shifts are worked on a flexible rota and may include:
8:00pm – 8:00am
9:00pm – 9:00am
10:00pm – 10:00am
Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, including weekends, school holidays, and bank holidays.
