FEMALE SWIMMING TEACHER
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and professional female swimming teacher to join our friendly team and deliver women-only swimming lessons at St Joseph’s College SE19 3HL South East London .
The current programme is one hour every Sunday, from 5:15pm to 6:15pm, making this a great opportunity for an experienced swimming teacher looking for a regular Sunday teaching slot.
As the programme grows, we also plan to introduce female teenager group swimming lessons, creating the potential for additional teaching opportunities and longer-term work with us.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- A female Level 2 Swimming Teacher or holds an equivalent recognised qualification
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ swimming teaching experience
- Holds N/RSTC or another appropriate recognised lifesaving/rescue qualification
- Confident teaching adults with different abilities and swimming backgrounds and kids 1:1's sessions
- Respectful, patient and understanding of diverse learners
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Responsible and professional in their approach
- A confident communicator who can build trust and rapport with learners
- Committed to safeguarding, health and safety and professional boundaries
- Comfortable working independently as a self-employed swimming teacher
- Ideally interested in teaching female teenagers as our programme expands
