The Role: What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing various domestic appliances in customers' homes. This includes:
- Fault finding and diagnosing issues accurately on appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, electric cookers/ovens, and refrigeration units.
- Carrying out effective and efficient repairs to the highest standard.
- Providing excellent customer service, clearly explaining the work done and providing advice on repais and sales of new appliance.
- Deliver and install new appliances in the local area where a repair is not viable.
- Completing all necessary paperwork.
Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
What You'll Need (Essential Skills & Experience)
- Proven experience as a Domestic Appliance Engineer (minimum 2 years is preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience repairing a wide range of major domestic appliances (as listed above).
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A valid UK Driving Licence.
- A professional, friendly, and reliable approach to customer service.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
