Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to provide cleaning services for two private residences. One property requires cleaning for 9 hours every fortnight on a Thursday, and the other involves a 3-hour session scheduled at a different time. The ideal candidate will possess experience in domestic or commercial cleaning, with additional skills such as cooking, customer service, or hotel experience being advantageous. This role offers an opportunity to work in a respectful and professional environment, ensuring homes are maintained to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas within both properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in accordance with client preferences
- Assist with light household tasks such as laundry and organising items when required
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and products safely and effectively
- Ensure all cleaning activities are completed within scheduled times
- Respect client privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Occasionally prepare simple meals or assist with basic cooking tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and courteously with clients
Requirements
- Proven experience in domestic or commercial cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or janitorial roles
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within allocated hours
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking, customer service experience, or familiarity with hotel standards
- Reliable transportation to access both properties on scheduled days
- Ability to pass any necessary background checks or safeguarding procedures as required by clients
- A respectful attitude towards clients’ homes and privacy
