The Role
We’re looking for a Visual Associate to bring West Elm’s creative, modern spirit to life.
You’ll inspire customers with design ideas, keep displays fresh, and make our store a go‑to destination for style and community.
What You’ll Do
· Ensure that all visual standards are consistently maintained and elevated within store.
· Seek out & promote innovative ways to make West Elm a neighbourhood destination for inspiration.
· Interpret & execute visual inspiration to drive sales & convey the eclectic, creative & modern spirit of the brand.
· Ensure merchandising & displays are visually compelling to drive sales.
· Partner with Visual Manager to develop action plans to drive sell through and maximise the store’s inventory/ownership.
· Participate in mapping and planning of seasonal floor sets with the Visual Manager.
· Swiftly react to sell-through/inventory and increase profitability through visual merchandising.
· Model & coach associates on how to uphold visual standards.
· Continually seek out inspiration, trends & ways to elevate product, decorating & styling expertise.
· Replenish the sales floor regularly & maintain visual presentation & displays.
· Execute floor set to reflect the inspiration, standards & spirit of the directive within required timeframe.

What You Bring
- 1–2 years’ experience in merchandising, styling, or visual arts
- A sharp eye for design, detail, and aesthetics
- Ability to juggle projects and adapt quickly
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to move items up to 30kg safely

Pay: £13.00-£13.85 per hour
