Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation and cooking tasks under supervision to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and surfaces are sanitized according to health and safety standards
- Support in organizing supplies and stock to ensure ingredients and utensils are readily available
- Help with serving food during meal times, ensuring timely delivery to guests or customers
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene practices
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
