We are seeking a dedicated and skilled self-employed Dental Nurse to work alongside our experienced Prosthodontist. This role is one day a week on Thursdays, with the opportunity for additional days on an ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical
- Assist the Prosthodontist during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Prepare and maintain the surgery and equipment (sterilisation, set-up, stock readiness)
- Take and process dental radiographs as required
- Ensure compliance with infection control, health & safety regulations, and clinical protocols
- Provide excellent patient care, reassurance, and support
Light Admin
- Support with contacting patients (reminders, confirmations, changes, follow-ups as appropriate)
- Booking in patients / diary support to keep the session running smoothly
- Update and maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
- Liaise with labs/couriers when needed for prosthodontic cases
Requirements
- Valid GDC registration (required)
- Dental nursing qualification
- Experience in practice, ideally prosthodontics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, detail-focused, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using dental software for records and scheduling

Experience (Preferred)
- Dental assisting: 3 years
