Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic person to join our Afterschool Club. You will support children through play, sports, activities, meal times, and daily routines. This role has the option of working term time only or year round with our holiday clubs. There would also be an option of adhoc Breakfast Club cover.
Duties would include;
Assisting in the day to day running of afterschool care
Helping to prepare a light meal for children
Running activities/games for children
Assisting in handover from teachers and then to parents
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day to day runnings of the childcare sessions
- Build good relationships with staff
- Complete food hygiene training and provide the meals planned by our team
- Provide a fun but controlled environment for children
Experience:
- Previously experience in a school or nursery would be preferable.
Required Skills:
- Willing to submit an Enhanced DBS check
- Basic cooking skills
- Confidence when communicating with parents and children
- Confident in leading a group of children through planned activities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
