Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Quran Teacher to inspire and guide students in their spiritual journey and understanding of the Holy Quran. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love for Islamic teachings, develop students' memorization and recitation skills, and nurture their moral character. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Quran lessons tailored to students’ age and skill levels, focusing on memorization, recitation, and comprehension.
- Develop personalized lesson plans that align with students’ spiritual goals and learning needs.
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and confidence.
- Mentor students in developing proper pronunciation (Tajweed) and understanding of Quranic verses.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student development and address any challenges.
- Promote Islamic values through teaching methods that emphasize moral character, discipline, and respect.
Skills
- Strong background in teaching the Quran with proficiency in Tajweed rules and memorization techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey lessons and engage learners effectively.
- Experience working with children or young learners, understanding their developmental needs.
- Ability to mentor students, fostering confidence and spiritual growth through supportive guidance.
- Compassionate approach suited for working with children in a nurturing environment.
- Knowledge of Islamic teachings, cultural sensitivity, and respectful interaction with diverse communities.
