Job Overview
The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the organisation operates in full compliance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs, helping to promote ethical practices, client safety, and regulatory adherence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Program Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation’s compliance framework.
- Monitor and interpret relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
- Ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance
- Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., client safety, data protection, clinical governance).
- Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports and documentation.
Auditing & Monitoring
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Track and report on compliance metrics and performance indicators.
Training & Awareness
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for staff.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the organisation.
- Provide guidance to employees on regulatory and policy requirements.
Incident Management
- Investigate compliance breaches, complaints, and incidents.
- Maintain records of investigations and outcomes.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and organised compliance records.
- Ensure proper documentation for inspections and audits.
- Support data protection and confidentiality requirements.
