Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards of hygiene
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other essentials to keep facilities well-equipped
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness logs and complete daily checklists to track completed tasks
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote environmental responsibility
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper equipment use
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Good communication skills for reporting issues or supply needs effectively
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
