We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Chef to join our friendly kitchen team at Fodder in the Woods.
If you're passionate about great food but looking for a better work-life balance, this could be the role for you.
Unlike many chef positions, this role offers predominantly daytime hours, with evening work required only a handful of times each year.
Set within the beautiful Finnebrogue Woods Estate, we pride ourselves on serving fresh, seasonal food using outstanding local ingredients, including our own Dexter beef reared on the estate.
What you'll be doing
- Working confidently on the pass during service.
- Coordinating orders and communicating clearly with the kitchen team.
- Preparing fresh ingredients.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Supporting a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a kitchen.
- Thinks quickly and stays calm during busy services.
- Is confident leading communication on the pass.
- Has strong preparation and organisational skills.
- Works well within a close-knit team.
- Takes pride in producing quality food.
