Quartz Worktop Installer / Installation Assistant
JDP Joinery is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join the team, either as an experienced quartz worktop installer or as an installation assistant.
The role will involve installing quartz worktops in customers’ homes. We are open to applications from fully qualified and experienced installers, as well as practical individuals who have experience in joinery, construction, kitchen fitting or a similar trade and are interested in developing their skills.
Main responsibilities
- Assisting with or completing the installation of quartz worktops
- Working within domestic properties
- Loading, unloading and safely handling worktops and equipment
- Travelling to installation sites across different locations
- Maintaining a professional and respectful approach when working in customers’ homes
- Working closely with other members of the installation team
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures
Requirements
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential
- Previous experience installing quartz, granite or solid-surface worktops is preferred for the installer position
- Experience in joinery, kitchen fitting, construction or a similar practical role would be useful for the assistant position
- Comfortable with early starts and regular travel
- Physically fit and able to safely lift and handle heavy materials
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Professional and presentable when working in customers’ homes
This is a full-time, employed position. The role will involve a significant amount of travelling and driving, so applicants must be comfortable spending time on the road.
Pay will be agreed based on experience and ability.
