About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Plant Operator to provide weekend, on-call shifts and holiday cover at our anaerobic digester facility. You will help keep the plant running safely and efficiently, ensuring that all operations meet environmental and safety standards.
Applicants must be within a 15-20 minute drive of West Felton, Oswestry. Accommodation not provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a telescopic loader to move feedstock and materials.
- Monitor plant equipment, recording operating data and reporting any issues.
- Carry out routine mechanical checks and basic maintenance.
- Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
- Assist with start-up and shut-down processes as required.
- Communicate with the site manager regarding performance and any faults.
- Covering alarms overnight
Requirements
- Ability to operate a telescopic loader
- Good mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
- Must work weekends and be able to cover staff holidays.
