Nirlak Consultancies ltd is looking for an Indirect Tax/ONESOURCE Consultant for an engagement in West London. The position can offer a competitive daily rate and the client are looking for someone to start immediately. Role Background: • The successful candidate will be in charge of producing a robust Functional and Technical design for an Indirect Tax solution for procurement based on the integration between SAP Ariba and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE. • You will also be responsible for gathering the tax requirements and translating them into a functional specification, configuration as well as defining an adequate testing scope (based on tax scope eg tax decision trees). Required Skills: • Candidates should have extensive experience with Thomson Reuters One Source (formerly known as Sabrix), ideally you should have worked on at least 2 prior implementation projects end to end. • A sound knowledge of the European VAT rules/requirements would also be essential for the position as well as Indirect tax knowledge. • Any experience with OneSource tax engine and experience of configuring the tax engine is also of interest. • Prior experience of Integration between ONESOURCE and SAP Ariba as well as SAP FIs is also required by the client. • Experience of the Oil industry or any multi country implementations is highly desirable. • Any exposure to working in an Agile/Scrum environment would also be beneficial. • Candidates should be eligible and willing to undergo a background check prior to going on customer site.
