Fire Stopping Certification and Document Coordinator
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Fire Stopping Certification and Document Coordinator to support the management of our product information, certification portfolio, and technical documentation.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all fire stopping product documentation, certifications, technical literature, and compliance records remain accurate, current, and fully controlled. Working closely with technical, quality, production, sales, and customer service teams, you will help maintain compliance, support product changes, and ensure customers and colleagues always have access to the correct information.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain product certifications, approvals, technical data sheets, declarations, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate certification and approval renewals, including supporting evidence and documentation.
- Manage controlled updates to existing products and ensure accurate implementation of changes.
- Maintain document control processes, version management, and audit trails.
- Ensure product information is accurate, accessible, and aligned across all business systems.
- Support CCPI initiatives and broader regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain product price lists and associated commercial documentation.
- Coordinate responses to product-related queries from internal teams and customers.
- Maintain organised Microsoft Teams and SharePoint structures for product information and technical records.
- Support continuous improvement of processes, policies, and procedures across the Technical function.
Requirements
Essential
- Experience in document control, certification management, compliance administration, technical support, or product information management.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing controlled documents and version control systems.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Teams and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Desirable
- Experience within fire stopping, passive fire protection, construction products, or regulated manufacturing.
- Knowledge of product certification processes and industry approvals.
- Understanding of CCPI, product compliance, or technical documentation requirements.
