Warehouse Operative
About us:
We are a growing fulfilment business with three sites across North Devon. We offer a bespoke fulfilment service, tailor made for each client.
Key Responsibilities will include the following (but not be limited to):
- Ensure orders are picked and packed in the correct way and in a timely manner
- The ability to use computer software systems (full training will be given on in-house systems)
- Completing product returns
- Producing clients’ kits/bundles
- Booking in deliveries
- Stock management
- Quality checks to ensure products are damage free
What you will have:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Accurate counting skills essential
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
- Need to be physically active as the role requires being on your feet and lifting items (under 15kg)
- Ability to follow instructions clearly as each client will have a bespoke method for packing their products
- Computer literacy is essential as our business is based on tech driven processes
- Time management skills essential as orders need to be picked, packed and despatched daily within certain time frames
- Being aware of surroundings, keeping the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
