An efficient and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer is required to join a well-established manufacturing company specialising in the automotive industry based in the Worcester area.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring total Customer Satisfaction of both Internal & External Customers, through prompt attention to concerns, identification of Root Cause and instigation of Permanent Corrective Action.

Requirements
- As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Management of Customer, Supplier & internal concerns utilising disciplined problem-solving techniques.
- Liaison with Customers, Suppliers and Internal Stakeholders on quality concerns. This may require UK and some overseas travel.
- Management of Containment activities and costs, to achieve best service at best cost.
- Conduct QMS, Product & Process audits internally and within Supply base.
- Support NPI Team activity by completing Quality led activities.
- To ensure all department procedures are adhered to.
- To maintain a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness in the department
- Consistently identify opportunities for improvement within the department and record all improvements
- Ideally has previous experience in the automotive sector but not essential.
- The candidate must have an understanding of ISO 9001 or ISO/TS 16949. Auditor qualification would be advantageous.
- Must be able to work from Engineering Drawings, detailed verbal and written instructions, specifications.
- Have an eye for detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- The ability to inspect first off & finished components with general inspection equipment alongside other duties associated with the position.
- GD&T and machining processes knowledge would be advantageous.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Due to the nature of the products, must have good eyesight, and the ability to differentiate between colours.
