Job Description
We are looking for a hard working prep chef based at our Manchester restaurant. The ideal candidate will be bulk prepping all our homemade sauces, lasagne, focaccia, desserts etc.

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and components of dishes according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with basic cooking tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes under the supervision of head chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing meal prep tasks.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and equipment use.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation of meals and uphold our high standards of service.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and quality control.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and learning new skills.
- Previous restaurant or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
