Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Building Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities to ensure the building functions efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations. Duties
- Manage and coordinate all building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety procedures. Making sure the building is compliant with all statutory requirements.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring tasks are completed to high standards.
- Oversee project management activities related to building upgrades, renovations, or installations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues with mechanical, electrical, or structural components.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimise operational efficiency.
- Lead emergency response planning and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Build and maintain annual service charge budget.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a facilities or building environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams or contractors.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with practical maintenance expertise.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Relevant qualifications in facilities management or related fields are preferred. Pay: £50,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
