Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Your energy and hands-on approach will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming, mowing, and irrigation setup to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators under supervision for excavation, site preparation, and material handling
- Support construction projects by loading/unloading materials, preparing work sites, and performing general cleanup to maintain a safe work environment
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and best practices
- Assist with gardening and horticulture tasks such as soil preparation, planting, mulching, and pest control to enhance landscape aesthetics
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time
Experience
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, gardening, or related manual labour roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including irrigation systems and horticultural practices is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other small machinery is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills and supporting project goals
