We have a fantastic opportunity at our State-of-the-art Food Supplement manufacturing facility to join our dedicated and inspirational team to successfully achieve our ambitious growth strategy and factory expansion plans.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our growing HR team.
This is a key role within the business, acting as a trusted partner to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and people-related matters.
In addition, the role will support the coordination and delivery of learning and development activities, working closely with managers to identify training needs, support employee development, and ensure mandatory training requirements are met across the business.
You will play a central role in supporting managers, driving consistency in people management, and ensuring HR best practice is applied across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations
- Manage employee relations casework end-to-end, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance/capability
- Ensure all cases are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with employment law
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records
Business Partnering
- Act as the first point of contact for managers on HR matters
- Provide coaching and guidance on performance, conduct, and attendance
- Support managers in making informed, compliant decisions
Performance & Absence Management
- Support the Performance Development Review (PDR) process
- Guide managers in managing underperformance and improvement plans
- Monitor absence trends and support attendance management
Learning & Development
- Identify development needs with managers
- Support training plans and development initiatives
Policy & Compliance
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures
- Support policy development in line with employment law
Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate HR records and case tracking
- Support reporting and provide insight into trends (e.g. absence, ER cases)
About You
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role
- Strong experience managing employee relations casework
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong organisational and case management ability
- Ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- Professional, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
