Milk Education are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Nottingham for a full-time English Teacher to start in September. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can bring English to life. The successful candidate will join a collaborative department where curiosity, respectful discussion, and academic progress are highly valued.
- Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum

Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across KS3 and KS4

Encourage respectful discussion, critical thinking, and independent reflection

Use assessment data to track progress and adapt teaching to meet learner needs
-
Promote tolerance, cultural awareness, and mutual respect within the classroom

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student outcomes

Uphold the values and standards of Milk Education and our partner schools
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Specialism in English, with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently

Strong classroom management skills

Good subject knowledge

Ability to facilitate balanced, respectful classroom discussion on sensitive topics

Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education)
