Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver parts to customers, vendors, and job sites across designated routes.
- Load, unload, and organize parts in the vehicle to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy before departure and upon receipt at the destination.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or loading when not on deliveries.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly, demonstrating physical strength for heavy lifting tasks.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus for understanding inventory handling and organization.
- Dependable with a strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail.
