OxIntranet is the University’s first Oxford-wide intranet — bringing together the information that staff and students need to work and study, all in one place. Developed as part of a programme to transform Oxford’s digital communications, the intranet is being rolled out across the University to provide a reliable source of content on a single user-friendly platform.

About the Role
This is a varied and exciting role that will make a real difference to staff and students across the University.
Working closely with content owners across the University, the role provides guidance, support and governance to ensure content on OxIntranet remains accurate, relevant, accessible and aligned with agreed standards.
The postholder will take ownership of key strategic content areas, including the homepage, news and events, navigation, search and other critical user journeys. Through regular content reviews, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement activities, they will help ensure OxIntranet remains a trusted, effective and engaging source of information.
About you
We’re looking for an experienced digital content professional with experience managing content across a large intranet, website or digital platform. You’ll have a strong understanding of content strategy, governance and lifecycle management, and know how to keep content accurate, relevant and useful. Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 would be a very strong advantage.
You will be confident working with a range of stakeholders and content owners, with a good understanding of user experience, information architecture and content design. You’ll use analytics and user insights to identify opportunities and continually improve the user experience.
You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. You’ll also understand accessibility standards and inclusive content practices.
