Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
- Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and respectful environment
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates to care plans and progress notes
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure cohesive care delivery
- Support clients with medication reminders or assistance as directed by healthcare professionals
- Use IT systems efficiently to document care activities and update client information securely
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly
- Valid driving license preferred for roles involving home visits or transportation of clients
- Familiarity with care plans, health and safety procedures, and basic IT systems is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
