FINANCE ASSISTANT
20-25 hours per week
£24,695 – 27,445 pro rata (pay award pending)
Hybrid, with occasional travel to services (Sefton, Merseyside)
Sefton’s leading care provider, New Directions, is now recruiting for an interim Finance Assistant to join our Head Office team. We currently employ around 350 dedicated staff who pride themselves on delivering high quality social care and support to adults of all ages within the Sefton area.
The postholder will be responsible for sending out itemised invoices in a timely manner and providing other financial and administrative support to the Finance team and wider organisation.
The postholder is required to follow up on outstanding debts and make sure all debtors pay their invoices within agreed timescales.
Working in a finance role within a local authority, medium sized organisation or a not for profit company is an essential requirement. Previous experience of using Sage 200 accounting software would be advantageous
