Job Title: Security Officer
Location: City of London
Rate: £15p/h
Contracted Hours: 60hrs per week (0700-1900) Monday – Friday
Role:
Working within this flagship building and prestigious environment in the City of London your primary role is to
ensure the security of people, premises and property, protecting the reputation of the client/tenants throughout.
To ensure synergy across our service providers, we work with a 'one team' approach to successfully deliver an
excellent customer journey so in this role you will work closely with catering, cleaning, maintenance and Front of
House teams in order to provide an environment which is welcoming and relaxed yet safe and secure at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors.
- Take an active interest in, and demonstrate commitment to, the client and tenants.
- Ensure that the environment and service are truly excellent and exceed expectations.
- Promote the client, tenants, and other service providers positively to everyone you come into contact with throughout the customer journey.
- Be flexible and adaptable to all tasks and challenges.
- Be highly presentable and accountable; take responsibility and ownership for any identified or allocated tasks.
- Ensure that all communication, whether internal or external, by telephone, face-to-face, or through any other medium, is clear, courteous, polite, professional, and respectful.
- Ensure complete confidentiality for clients, tenants, and other service providers; protecting people and information is paramount.
- Use CCTV, access control systems, and any other electronic management systems appropriately, and complete all reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Be familiar with all security and emergency procedures on site and assist in their safe implementation and practice. There may also be a requirement to become a Fire Marshal and First Aider, where applicable. All necessary training will be provided.
- Review, understand, and follow all Assignment Instructions, Operations Manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Complete all rostered duties and associated tasks or responsibilities to the highest possible standard.
- Ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures are followed and do not undertake any activity that could breach SIA requirements or other relevant regulations.
- Complete any other reasonable tasks as instructed by your Line Manager, Senior Manager, Unitrust, or at the request of the client and/or tenants.
- Act with integrity and in the best interests of the company in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner.
- Demonstrate resilience when working in sensitive environments, dealing with conflict at all times in a respectful, empathetic, and professional manner.
