About the role:
As a Dental Nurse, you will play an important role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Providing excellent chairside support to our Dentists, Hygienists and Clinical Dental Technician
· Preparing surgeries and ensuring all instruments and equipment are available and ready to use
· Maintaining the highest standards of cross-infection control, decontamination and health and safety
· Correct cleaning and sterilising and maintaining dental instruments in line with current guidance
· Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the practice
· Working as part of the dental team to complete the daily cleaning and general housekeeping of the practice
· Providing a warm, friendly and professional experience for every patient
· Answering telephone calls and dealing confidently with patient enquiries
· Taking payments and assisting patients with treatment information and plans where appropriate
· Liaising with dental laboratories, referral practices and hospitals
· Maintaining accurate clinical and patient records
· Contributing to a positive culture of continuous improvement, learning and development

What We are Looking For:
The successful candidate will be :
· A fully qualified GDC-registered Dental Nurse
· Experienced in dental nursing, ideally with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
· confident and professional with excellent communication skills
· passionate about providing outstanding patient care
· organised, reliable and able to work effectively within a busy practice
· committed to maintaining excellent standards of infection prevention and control
· a positive team player who is keen to learn, develop and share knowledge with colleagues

Essential Requirements
Experience:
- Dental Nursing: 5 years (required)
