SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

The Role
As SENCO, you will take strategic responsibility for the school's SEND provision, working closely with senior leaders, teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to deliver outstanding outcomes for pupils with additional needs.
You will lead and develop the SEND team, monitor pupil progress, oversee EHCP processes, and champion inclusive teaching practices across the school.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- NASENCO qualification or NPQ for SENCO
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to track progress, identify gaps, and measure the impact of interventions
- Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, EHCP processes, and SEND funding
- Experience coaching and mentoring teachers and Learning Support Assistants to deliver high-quality, inclusive classroom practice
- Experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and SEMH
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills

Pay: £35,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
