Responsibilities
- Safely operate flatbed trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption
- Load, secure, and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage during transit
- Verify delivery details with customers upon arrival, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every trip
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the road
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with delivery driver experience in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience operating flatbed trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
- Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safe driving practices
- Ability to lift heavy packages and handle cargo securely during loading and unloading
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly customer service approach
- Ability to stay organized, punctual, and maintain focus during long driving shifts

Pay: £101.68-£218.35 per day
