YMCA North Staffordshire is a local charity supporting young people and families through accommodation, community, health and wellbeing services. We are looking for a Family Programme Facilitator to join our friendly Families Department and deliver the CAFCASS Planning Together for Children programme, supporting separated parents to develop positive co-parenting skills, put their children’s needs first and improve communication with their co-parent.
This is a flexible, home-based opportunity, primarily delivered via Zoom or MS Teams, with face-to-face sessions where required. Sessions can be arranged during evenings and weekends to meet clients’ needs and your availability, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a second job or additional flexible hours alongside existing commitments. The role also includes associated administration, training and contributing to the implementation of new practice.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (or equivalent), or be willing to undertake the qualification immediately through a learning agreement at YMCA expense. You will have experience working with adults in a teaching, training, social care or educational setting, experience delivering training programmes, strong communication and people skills, and the ability to work confidently with sensitive and confidential information. Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, email, calendars, internet and presentation software, are also required. Previous experience in a similar role or setting is essential.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. YMCA North Staffordshire is committed to continuous improvement and offers an enhanced annual leave package. If you have the skills and experience to make a positive difference to separated parents and their children, we would love to hear from you.
