Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards

- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
- Supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Competence in food production techniques across various cuisines
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
