Our reputable automotive client, a leading business vehicle hire specialist in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team based in Basildon, Essex. Duties:
- Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics on a variety of cars and vans
- Repair and rectify issues across multiple vehicle makes and models
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained to safety and quality standards
- Work independently, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as required, including occasional Saturday mornings (paid)
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Comprehensive knowledge of light commercial vehicle mechanics and diagnostics
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
- Reside within a reasonable commute to Basildon
- A proactive attitude towards personal development and team collaboration
- Previous experience working on both cars and vans is preferred
