Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Cleaner with flexible zero-hour shifts, dedicated to maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment across various facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, providing essential cleaning services that uphold high standards of hygiene and safety. As we cover a range of sites across the area, you'll need to be happy driving up to 30–40 minutes to reach different locations. Duties
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks across different locations, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are well-equipped
- Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure consistent quality across all sites
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to supervisors for swift resolution
- Adapt to different sites' needs by providing flexible cover as required, travelling to sites within a 30-minute drive as business needs require
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential — many sites are not easily reached by public transport)
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours
