Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, menus, and inquiries.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems or manual methods.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and serving.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest needs or concerns efficiently.
Qualifications REQUIRED
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately.
- Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
