Overview
We are seeking skilled Mig Welder/Fabricators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a focus on producing high-quality metal components. Duties
- Perform Mig welding, and other welding techniques to produce accurate and strong welds on various metal components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise fabrication.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during the manufacturing process.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections of completed work for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Mig welding
- Knowledge of welding standards and practices.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations essential for fabrication tasks.
- Experience working with sheet metal materials is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in production tasks.
This role is suitable for candidates eager to develop their skills further within a professional manufacturing environment while contributing to high-quality fabrication projects.
Starting salary approx £33,488 per year (£14.00 p/h) depending on level of skill & experience.
Shift:
- Monday to Thursday - 6.00am to 6.00pm (46.00 hours per week).
