Location: Dignity Pet Crematorium, Odiham Road, Winchfield, Hook, Hampshire RG27 8BU (inaccessible by public transport)
Hours: 2.30pm – 11pm, working Monday to Friday and every third Saturday with a set day off that week.

We're looking for a Cremator to join our dedicated Cremations Team. This is a unique role that combines technical expertise with genuine compassion, ensuring every pet receives the dignified farewell they deserve.

The Role
As a Cremator, you will play a vital role in helping families say goodbye to their cherished companions. You'll be responsible for preparing and carrying out individual pet cremations with the utmost care, accuracy, and respect, while ensuring all procedures are completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
You'll also support families attending cremation services, providing reassurance and compassionate care during an emotional time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out individual pet cremations to the highest standards.
- Receive and handle pets with dignity, care, and professionalism.
- Prepare pets for cremation and oversee the cremation process.
- Take memorial keepsakes including paw prints, nose prints, fur clippings, and moulds.
- Verify identification and maintain accurate records throughout the cremation journey.
- Prepare ashes for return to families and veterinary practices.
- Lead attended cremation services with empathy and respect.
- Operate, inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on cremation equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment.
- Support colleagues across the wider crematorium operation as required.
- Follow all health, safety, environmental, and company procedures.
