Our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Colindale, North West London, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary ranging from £38,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus performance bonuses and overtime opportunities (uncapped OTE exceeding £50,000 for Diagnostic Technicians)
- Basic salary of £45,000 and above for Master Technicians, fully open to negotiation
- Monday to Friday working week, 42.5 hours per week
- Paid overtime on Saturday mornings on a 1-in-3 rota

Duties as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will include:
- Complete scheduled vehicle servicing according to manufacturer guidelines with precision
- Perform diagnostic tests to accurately identify faults and provide effective solutions
- Conduct electronic visual health checks and generate detailed reports for customers
- Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors to ensure clear understanding and excellent service
- Ensure all servicing and repair work is carried out to high safety and quality standards
- Participate in ongoing training to keep your technical skills up to date
- Support process improvements at both local and company levels
- Mentoring apprentice technicians and sharing your technical expertise
- Maintain your MOT Tester certification (advantageous but not essential)
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualified vehicle technician with a full UK driving licence
- Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics and servicing
- MOT Tester certification is preferred but not essential
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management capabilities
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to clearly explain technical issues
- Ability to work efficiently within deadlines and in a team environment
