Kinaxia Newcastle is looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team at our Gateshead site.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and supportive operation, playing a key role in the day-to-day success of the warehouse. You will be responsible for order picking, packing and sorting stock in preparation for loading, helping to ensure a smooth operation while maintaining high standards of customer service, accuracy and safety.

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:
-
Completing all consignment paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to deliver a world-class service

Investigating and resolving discrepancies relating to missing stock and dispatch issues to minimise customer complaints

Carrying out daily and weekly safety checks on manual handling equipment and work areas, completing all relevant documentation and reporting findings to your Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager

Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards to ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe at all times

Working safely and in full compliance with Health & Safety regulations to minimise the risk of accidents

Supporting other departments when required to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business
You will have:

A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence

Knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety procedures

Experience using stock management software
-
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
